One-Way ticket ~

Hi, my passport will be here any day.. I have decided to purchase one-way ticket (not sure why that makes me feel a little like diving off without knowing where I’ll end up…)… I guess because I am? I’ve decided I am free-floating and will decide my next stop when I decide it (crazy?) I just know I want to start in Paris… I look forward to visiting the Rodin and Louve (more than once if I want) and just sitting in front of whatever appeals to me for as long as I want.. no rush. I look forward to going to Montmarte, eating chicken and drinking Champagne at this little restaurant I visited with my Comadre and goddaughter a few years ago… gazing at all of Paris from the steps of Basilica of Sacre Coeur. I do enjoy listening to romantic music and I think French music is very lyrical and romantic, don’t you?

I am also challenging myself to travel with (1) carry-on and my office bag (laptop and camera equipment)… think I can do it?

First Stop…

Hi.. been a crazy week. My home is protesting my move, 1st day I moved out my roof leaked, then 2 days later my dryer goes out.. it’s fine… all will be well. The couple who moved in seem to be a lovely couple, they will take good care of my home; I feel very lucky.

Now for the “fun stuff”.. I have found several fabulous flights to Paris and Barcelona; I believe tonight I will make my choice… all that Champagne is calling my name.

Speaking of Champagne, my son Dante says that is the obvious choice to name my blog… he may have a valid point and a “Gooood Eyyyye..deal”.

Need to find a dependable (and reasonable) cell phone service and more important a video calling service so I can keep my promise to my girls to call them once a week for a video call. I am looking forward to our calls, I hope to share with them the beauty of the places I visit.

Craazzy moving day

Hi!… last 2 days have been craaazzy. I feel so lucky for the renters that found my home and are renting, I have very good feelings about them.. they appear to be a lovely couple. They were in process of having to move to another hotel … to help them avoid that added stress I offered to move out in like 18 hours! I have to admit… I thought I had taken on more than I could chew… but by 2am I knew I was going to make it!

So I’m a “Floatie” now (my word for “person who is continuously finding new places to call home”)

I found Great rates on flights to Paris… I think I should start my new adventure with a quick stop in Paris, drinking Champagne.

On my way!

Hi.. I am very happy to be in planning stage for my new adventure. I have lists upon lists to keep me focused; I’m excited and excited. I hope to have many wonderful moments to share with you. I look forward to discover new places and food (and CHAMPAGNE).. and discover the beauty in the places I travel. I am able to start this adventure because I have my family and friends’ love and care to support me on this journey.
